.2 NETWORK – “THE NETWORK-IN-A BOX” ™

GEARS UP FOR 2008 LAUNCH AND SIGNS LICENSING DEAL WITH SONY PICTURES TELEVISION FOR A BROAD PACKAGE OF DIGITAL BROADCAST MOVIE PREMIERES AND TELEVISION SERIES

Set to Launch as the First Digital Broadcast Network to Provide Local Station Affiliates With a Uniform, National Network Platform Affording Stations a Complete 24/7 Programming Option

Columbus, OH – October 22, 2007 -- Guardian Enterprise Group, Inc. (GEG), will launch its new, nationwide multicast digital broadcast network, .2 Network, (pronounced dot two network), in 2008, it was announced today by GEG President Richard Schilg. Upon launch, .2Network programming includes a licensing deal with Sony Pictures Television (SPT) for over 300 titles of blockbuster, award-winning films, featuring numerous A-list Hollywood stars in several digital broadcast premieres as well as four television series.

Dubbed “Network-in-a-Box,”™ .2Network is the first to provide local station affiliates with a uniform, national network platform, affording stations a 24/7 option to simply “plug and play” the network onto their current available and unused digital multicast channel positions and receive back immediate non-traditional revenue (“NTR”) in the form of revenue sharing.

Station affiliates can customize and localize their digital channel by pre-empting portions of the 24/7 feed and re-purposing and inserting their main channel’s local news, traffic and weather or other public interest programming, and receive local barter spots throughout the day. .2Network enables broadcasters to monetize the digital capabilities they were mandated to build with little or no past offsetting revenue sources.

To power the content of the 24/7 network and provide a high quality bed for affiliates local news, .2Network has signed multiple year, programming licensing deals with a number of major studios, in addition to their licensing deal with SPT. .2Network plans to offer three, theatrical quality movies daily, original network programs, multiple television series, lifestyle shows and FCC compliant E/I children’s programming.

“The best part is the network’s unique name and logo which enables local affiliates to extend their local brand,” said .2Network President Richard C. Schilg. “In the digital world, each main channel has multiple sub-channels identified as .2, .3, .4, and .5. For Example: a current main broadcast channel (7) will add the co-brand of .2Network as (7.2Network).”

Population counts in local communities limit the number of local television broadcast licenses granted by the FCC and therefore limit the number of viable nationwide broadcast television networks to now only 6 or 7 in the analog world, prompting the explosion in the last 2 decades of hundreds of new cable only and satellite only networks to meet consumer demand. “Now, in the digital world and with digital multicasting, a limited number of new, nationwide television broadcast networks can be added to the landscape,” said Schilg.

Among the 300 Sony titles acquired by .2Network are top films such as The Pink Panther, Stuart Little 3, Marie Antoinette, All The King’s Men, RV, Stranger Than Fiction, Seraphim Falls, Gridiron Gang, Reign Over Me, Monster House, Surf’s Up, Second Chance and Premonition.. .2Network will be offering digital broadcast premieres for many of these titles.
